StyleTech: No ticket for Fashion Week? No problem!

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has officially begun, and fabulous designers from all over the world will be showcasing their Spring/Summer 2012 collections in New York City.  Sitting front row at ‘the Tents’ has been on my bucket list since I was about 10 years old, but alas, I have never had the pleasure of attending any of the shows (yet!).  But for all of you fashionistas out there that share my pain, never fear – technology comes to the rescue!

Youtube and Maybelline New York have teamed up to bring Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to people around the world.  The goal is to deliver the excitement and energy of the runway by presenting live streaming fashion shows on YouTube’s Live from the Runway channel at www.youtube.com/liverunway.  You will also be able to watch the shows wherever you are with a newly added mobile live streaming feature accessible at m.youtube.com/liverunway, and of course, don’t forget to comment on Twitter with the hash tag #LiveRunway.  Not only will you see the shows live, you’ll also get access to all of the chaos that goes on backstage, as well as interviews with designers.

So if your ticket got lost in the mail, save yourself some train fare and watch all of Fashion Week from the comfort of your own home, or from anywhere on your phone.  It’s the next best thing to being there, at least until Anna Wintour calls!
