I have to admit, I’m a little skeptical about this one.\u00a0 But as a woman who has seen more than her fair share of sore\u00a0feet, I’m willing to hope against\u00a0the odds\u00a0that a comfortable high heel can even exist.<\/p>\n

French shoe designer Raphael Young is so confident his is\u00a0the last heel you’ll ever need to wear, he actually patented the technology behind the design.\u00a0 The R-Flex line\u00a0of\u00a0footwear includes steel inserts in the heels, a latex gel injection in the leather soles, and a rubber injection in the balls of\u00a0the feet.\u00a0 There is also an ‘anti-twisting steel accessory’ near the toes to stabilize the shoe and\u00a0prevent the ankle from twisting.<\/p>\n

All this technology sounds good, but it\u00a0comes at a hefty price – the shoes start at around $575 US and go up from there.\u00a0 With the economy the way it is, unless these shoes were guaranteed to last forever and gave me a foot massage at the end of the day, I’ll probably have to pass for now.\u00a0\u00a0However, it is encouraging to know that\u00a0some designers are actually designing shoes\u00a0with our feet in mind.\u00a0 You can check out Young’s\u00a0website here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
