Like a lot of women, I get regular manicures. And like a lot of women, I have picked out a color at a salon only to turn around and apologize to the nail technician when I ask her to take it off because it just didn’t look right on my skin tone.
Even worse is when I get stuck with a color that I purchased that I loved in the bottle but didn’t quite translate when I got it home. Well now, there’s an app for that!
OPI has a free app that actually let you “test” their nail polish colors. On a picture of a hand, you can adjust the skin tone to match yours (and it actually has a pretty decent range), and then scroll through the different colors OPI offers to see how they would look on your “hand.” Over 200 colors are available to try out, but the app is currently only available for the iPhone. It’s very useful and super-cute if for no other reason than to read the awesome OPI nail color names! You can also keep track of your favorites and check out new collections as they become available. So you get all the fun of a manicure without getting choked by nail polish remover fumes!
Well it is about time! For as much as you have to pay for a bottle of the stuff!!!! Only to never paint your nails again! But now I can get a list together to take on my next appointment!
